Anton Du Beke and his partner Emma Barton have so far managed to avoid the dreaded dance-off and head judge Shirley Ballas thinks he could go all way to the final and lift the Glitterball Trophy. The professional dancer has appeared in all 17 series but is yet to win – could it be his year?
Anton and Emma thrilled the judges and viewers with their Charleston last night.
They scored 39 points for their Thoroughly Modern Millie inspired routine.
Now, Shirley has revealed she thinks they could go all the way.
Speaking on Sunday Brunch this morning, she said: “He’s creative and he goes out there and gives his best, and I think he’s shone with this young lady Emma.

“You know, he’s come out there, who knew what to expect with Anton?
“What I feel he’s done this time is took it really seriously and he’s shown the audience exactly what he can do.
“For that now, I wouldn’t be surprised if he’s in the final and maybe, possibly could win.”
Shirley added: “We’ll have to see.”
Anton has only come close to winning the series once before in the first ever show.
When partnered with Lesley Garrett he finished in 3rd position after performing the Jive.
Anton has never been kicked out of the contest after performing the Charleston so this could be his lucky week.
Will Emma help Anton to finally lift the Glitterball Trophy?
