With our favourite Strictly Come Dancing stars now having danced their way past the competition’s halfway point, the celebrities contestants and their pro-dancer partners will once again be dusting off the sequins and polishing their dance shoes for Saturday’s seventh live show of the series.
Hot on the heels of last week’s sad departure of Love Islander Zara McDermott and her partner Graziano Di Prima, the remaining nine contestants will be dancing their hearts out this week in the hopes of avoiding the dreaded dance off.
Crucially as well as progressing in the series, contestants that manage to pass week seven of the competition, will be in touching distance of the highly coveted chance to perform at the Blackpool Tower Ballroom on 18 November when the show returns to the world renowned location.
This week, viewers at home can expect to see yet another jaw dropping array of performances, which includes two couples choice dances from both Krishnan Guru Murthy and Lauren Oakley, and from Annabel Croft and Johannes Radebe.
Annabel’s dance in particular looks set to be a highly emotional performance for the star, as she pays tribute to her late husband with a dance set to the track Wings by Birdy.
Speaking about the performance on Strictly It Takes Two, Annabel explained: “With this dance, I want to do this for Mel. There’s a lot of meaning behind the dance and it’s really really special to be able to do it.”
“I just hope that Mel is watching from somewhere and hopefully will be proud.”
One couple who may be in trouble this week are frontrunners Layton Williams and Nikita Kuzmin, after professional dancer Nikita was spotted leaving rehearsals while wearing a knee brace, with onlookers even describing a moment where the dancer looked to struggle while getting into a taxi.
Could Nikita’s injury impact on their upcoming performance?
As ever, OK! will be here live-blogging every step of the way, to keep you up to date on the latest injuries, costume changes and judges comments ahead of Strictly Come Dancing’s live show which kicks off on Saturday 4 November at 7:05 pm on BBC One and BBC iPlayer.
Without further ado, let’s get dancing…

BBC Strictly’s Bobby Brazier gives Dianne Buswell kiss after gruelling 9 hour rehearsals
Bobby Brazier was in high spirits despite a gruelling nine-hour rehearsal as he jumped for joy and kissed pro partner Dianne Buswell.
The EastEnders star, 20, reportedly shouted, “We are the winners of this year's Strictly Come Dancing 2023” as he pumped his fists in the air following the practice session ahead of next Saturday’s live show. Bobby was dressed casually as he left the rehearsal space – wearing a black T-shirt, blue football shorts, flip flops and a pair of black headphones slung around his neck.
After he jumped in the air and planted a kiss on Dianne, 34, he got into the backseat of a car for the ride home. Meanwhile Dianne also smiled broadly as she went her separate way – dressed in a long-sleeved black top with green jeans and a pair of black boots.

Ellie Leach has told her dance partner Vito Coppola "I love you", as he confessed he was looking forward to another “beautiful” day together.

Earlier this week, Vito shared a video of him on his Instagram account, where he said that he and Ellie “feel so close” to their fans, and they don’t take “anything for granted.”
He also admitted that the love from his fans help him when he is feeling “alone,” as his family are still in Italy while he is in the UK.

Strictly’s Nikita Kuzmin struggles with knee brace as he leaves rehearsals with Layton Williams
Strictly Come Dancing professional Nikita Kuzmin was strapped up with a knee brace after rehearsals on Wednesday.
Pictured leaving the training space with his celebrity dance partner Layton Williams, the 25-year-old's physical condition will be of concern to them heading into the weekend after he reportedly struggled to get into his waiting taxi.
The pair continued their ballroom hot-streak last Saturday by scoring 36 on Halloween Week for an impressive Tango routine. Only Ellie Leach and Vito Coppola could best that with 38.
Despite their supposed frontrunner position in this year's competition, body language expert Darren Stanton predicted that Nikita and Bad Education favourite Layton would only reach the semi-final.
