Good Morning Britain star Susanna Reid has reassured ITV viewers that journalist Rohit Kachroo is OK after his interview about his safety in Ukraine was cut short.
ITV's Global Security Editor Rohit appeared on the breakfast show via a video link from Kyiv to chat to Susanna and Adil Ray about the news from the city in conflict.
As Rohit explained that he felt luckier than most as he had protective equipment, the line was abruptly hit by technical difficulties with him disappearing from screen.
Susanna and Adil quickly tried to get back in contact with Rohit as they didn't want to pause the chat there, especially as the reporter was just discussing the safety of himself and other journalists reporting from the area.
As they got back in contact, Rohit explained he felt safe because he had protective equipment on including a helmet and a special vest, whilst many of the people in area still didn't have any sort of protection.
The signal cut again and the interview Rohit came to an end.
Adil and Susanna reassured viewers that Rohit was OK, and as they returned to our screens.
Susanna, 51, told those tuning into the show: "Just to reassure our viewers, Rohit is fine. It was just a technical hitch but he's fine."
Good Morning Britain has been fronted by Richard and Susanna on Mondays to Wednesdays since before Christmas.
However, Adil filled in for Richard Madeley on Wednesday morning.
Confirming his return to the GMB studio, Adil tweeted: "Back on your box tomorrow @gmb with the ace @susannareid100 latest from Ukraine, look ahead to the Spring statement, Keith Allen drops by. Oh and I am very GRATEFUL. Just incase you were wondering… see you at 6."
Fans were clearly excited to hear Adil's exciting news and rushed to leave a message for the star on social media.
One fan penned: "Fantastic news! Best duo on telly."
Another added: "Something to look forward to, love your comedy and your ability to be serious and really put politicians on the back foot."
A third person posted: "Really enjoy the show when you're on."
While a fourth tweeted: "Dream team back can't wait."

Martin is used to fronting Good Morning Britain, having stepped in after Piers Morgan left in March 2021.
Alastair Campbell, Ed Balls, Adil Ray, and Rob Rinder have also assisted Susanna following his departure.
Piers, 56, quit the popular morning programme last year after he stormed off set following a row with weatherman Alex Beresford.
