We remember when the original cast of Teen Mom OG was announced, and there’s been a lot that has changed over the years since then. When it all started, Maci Bookout had recently given birth to her son, Bentley — and she was still with Bentley’s father, Ryan Edwards. Now, we know Edwards and Bookout no longer speak, as Bookout has restraining orders against him. And Edwards is having trouble staying out of news headlines for his multiple arrests, too.
We know Edwards is married to Mackenzie Standifer, and the two have a child together and another on the way. Despite Edwards’ drama of the past, it seems fans think he’s starting to look better than ever. Here’s what they’re saying on Standifer’s Instagram.

There are plenty of Teen Mom OG stars making headlines, and Edwards isn’t doing his reputation any favors due to his recent arrests. People reminds us on a previous season of the show, Edwards checked into a rehab facility for heroin addiction. But he was later arrested on charges for theft of services and possession of a controlled substance. This is far from the first time Edwards has been in trouble with the law, too — and on the latest Teen Mom reunion, Bookout explained how she’s done with the drama.
As Bookout said, “I’m not even really looking for an apology. I think having a conversation and hearing how he would like to see [his relationship with Bently] get better and knowing he does want this. Besides that, just really putting in the effort and being consistent.”
We can’t forget that Bookout also has a restraining order against Edwards, too — and it doesn’t look like she’ll be lifting it anytime soon.
Fans have bashed some of Mackenzie Standifer’s photos of her and Edwards

Despite Edwards’ attempts to make a change for the better, it looks like fans are still on Bookout’s side. And many have even taken to Mackenzie Standifer’s Instagram to express to her how she’s making a huge mistake by staying with Edwards. Radar Online reports insiders claim Edwards thought Standifer was cheating on him while he was in jail, too. And another source told Radar that Standifer’s family doesn’t think she should be staying with Edwards even though they’re expecting their second child together now.
Despite the harsh critique, Standifer continues to stand by Edwards’ side and posts photos of their seemingly happy family on Instagram. A post showing Edwards, Standifer, and their blended family from the summer raised some eyebrows, however. “Ryan is as high as a kite. If she doesn’t see that, I feel bad. You can tell right away bro,” a follower commented. Another wrote, “His eyes never hide his addiction.”

Standifer’s photo of her and Edwards at the beach was posted back in August, but it seems fans think Edwards is actually looking quite put-together in a more recent photo she posted of him in September. “They finally got their dream car! Super excited about this one!” Standifer captioned the post of Edwards in the car.
“Everyone says ryan was high at the reunion or looks high now… as a former addict I disagree. He looked great to me!” one of Standifer’s followers noted. Another wrote, “Ryan is looking good here! I see the cool guy coming back!!” Yet another commented, “So happy for them and I’m so happy for you and Ryan!! So glad he is doing great!!” Finally, a follower wrote, “Ryan looks great!!!!!!”
We’re betting Standifer is appreciating this resounding support considering all she’s been through. And we’re hoping Edwards is taking care of himself and preparing for the arrival of their new baby!
