Beverly (played by Wendi McLendon-Covey) scrambled to put together a Thanksgiving dinner for her family in the latest episode of The Goldbergs on ABC. As is usual in the show, Beverly’s antics had fans in stitches, while the instalment also explored Geoff (Sam Lerner) and Erica’s (Hayley Orrantia) parental struggles. There was also a welcome return for Marvin (Dan Fogler).
With so much to unpack for Beverly and the family during the Thanksgiving special, it was always going to be a special episode for fans.
And many have taken to social media to applaud the eighth episode of season 10 for its hilarious and heartwarming delivery.
Therefore, it was inevitable fans are keen to watch the next episode, titled Million Dollar Reward, as soon as possible.
However, despite there being a winter hiatus coming up for the sitcom, there’s another short break beforehand as episode nine will not air in its usual slot on Tuesday, November 23.
Instead, a rerun of Abbott Elementary will air in The Goldbergs’ usual place.
The next episode of The Goldbergs will instead return the week after, on November 30.
The same goes for fellow hit ABC comedy The Conners, as a repeat will air next week before a new episode returns the week after.
Luckily, ABC has released a synopsis for Million Dollar Reward to keep fans’ excitement levels high.
It reads, according to IMDb: “Adam (Sean Giambrone) forgoes his dinner date to hang out with his new colleagues.
“Beverly, worried sick that Adam is running in too fast a crowd, pulls out the ultimate stop to end it all.
“Barry (Tony Gentile) realises that medical school is tougher than he anticipated.”
While it’s not unusual for Beverly’s overbearingness to come into play when it comes to Adam, will this time prove too much for the pair?

In the meantime, fans have been taking to the web to praise the Thanksgiving special, with some branding it the “greatest ever” special.
