Star Wars fans with fresh subscriptions to Disney’s new streaming service cannot binge the new series all at once, as they might be accustomed to with many other original shows on streaming services. Instead, they’ll have to wait a week between installments over the show’s eight-episode run, digesting and discussing each episode in between drops. Disney has opted for a traditional weekly release structure over the Netflix-popularized “binge” model, whereby an entire season is dropped online at once.
WWE superstar Sasha Banks appeared in the first trailer for the show, but it is unknown who she is playing at the time. She’ll be joining Pedro Pascal, Carl Weathers, Gina Carano, and Giancarlo Esposito all reprising their roles from Season 1. Additionally, Terminator star Michael Biehn will reportedly play a bounty hunter, and it is rumored that Rosario Dawson may appear on the new season as well.
