Gwen Stefani and Blake Shelton have been together about four years now. Now they’ll be back as coaches again on the upcoming season of The Voice.

Stefani is returning to The Voice for Season 17 replacing Adam Levine. She talked about her excitement for the new season.
“To think that [Adam’s] not going to be there is like bittersweet. And plus, like, being between him and Blake, the amount of laughter, I would have to like stop and massage my face, because it would hurt,” she admitted on The Talk.
“But it’s going to be fun, it’s going to be exciting. I mean, Blake’s my best friend, so I get to hang out with him at work.” She then said, “I wanted to come back so bad. I mean, the show is so fun.”
Now it looks like the cast is back for the new season. Stefani recently shared an old picture of herself in an Instagram story and wrote “Never would believe I would be on set on Universal lot” on it.
She then posted a picture of herself relaxing on a couch. The coach wrote “Back at @nbcthevoice today!!!!!! So many amazing memories in this trailer. Life-changing. So grateful to be back. So excited.”

Carson Daly used to host Total Request Live (TRL), which had multiple musical guests so it’s not surprising he has met Stefani before. He posted a picture with Stefani in a studio on Instagram.
The caption reads, “It’s pretty crazy that I’ve known @gwenstefani since 1995. Here she’s on my afternoon radio show in San Jose, Ca. #TragicKingdom was released in Oct that yr. Now, almost 25 yrs later we work together @nbcthevoice She is the realist, sweetest, most talented & just down right coolest person I know. Grateful for our friendship. @blakeshelton You got a keeper my brother!”

The singer shared the post on her own Instagram page. She also had a few things to say about it.
Stefani commented on his post with “Goodness – I love u x.” On the shared post on her page she added in the caption, “@carsondalyeverything u just said back at u!!! Love u so much – can’t believe I’m back at @nbcthevoice this season sooooooo grateful off to church to give my thanks @blakeshelton did u see what @carsondaly said keep me! Gx.”
Daly revealed he had to keep Stefani and Shelton’s relationship a secret after it was confirmed. His Today show co-hosts playfully confronted him about it.
“I didn’t think Blake could get a girl as hot as Gwen to be honest,” he said. “He’s a goofy cowboy. She’s the queen of cool. But God bless them. They’re two of the nicest people in the business.” He went on to give some kind words to the new couple.
“We’re thrilled that they’re finding each other,” he said. “Good luck. We love you.” It looks like Daly is another person who is excited that the former No Doubt singer is back in the competition.
