This Morning’s stand-in hosts Vernon Kay and Josie Gibson made their double act debut on today’s episode of the ITV show – and fans can’t get enough.
The duo, who joined forces to front the programme as Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield enjoy their Christmas break, told the show’s viewers that they were thrilled to have been asked to present together.
And it was clear that they were determined to bring the fun factor, as Vernon, 47, and 36-year-old Josie got stuck into the show’s content, including a hilarious interview with I’m a Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here! runner-up Simon Gregson.
As their first episode aired, viewers tuning in at home seemed very happy with the new pairing, as they said I’m a Celeb star Vernon and Big Brother’s Josie’s joint energy was contagious.

Another agreed, writing on Twitter: ‘Vernon and Josie are a great team on This Morning. Smart, kind and funny but serious when needed, love it.’
A third added their thoughts on the pairing, as they commented: ‘I am loving this morning with Josie and Vernon. Great combination.’
Others said they hoped to see more of the ‘fun’ duo in the future, with some even calling for them to join the presenting line-up on a more permanent basis as they were a 'breath of fresh air'.
They wrote: ‘Josie and Vernon every friday please #thismorning,’ as another commented: ‘Josie and Vernon work together better already and it’s only been half an hour.'

This comes after Josie previously stepped in to present the show with Phillip Schofield, after his co-host Holly was off sick for three days.
Opening up about the experience and the love she’d received from viewers, Josie recently revealed: “I made mistakes on air and sometimes my timing was off, but the viewers were so understanding.”
Josie continued in an interview with Closer Magazine: "It's hard work and Holly messaged me to say thank you for covering her and I said, 'hurry up and get your a*** back! She and Phil make it look so easy."
Josie went on to say that it was a day she’d never forget and a huge tick off of her career bucket list.
The star explained:“I thought, ‘how did I get here?’ I'm on one of the biggest daytime TV shows and next to one of the biggest TV presenters in the world. I felt like I was living the dream!”
