This Morning’s Josie Gibson made a shock shower confession during the ITV show.
The 37-year-old presenter joined Holly Willoughby upon her return to the sofa and during a hair health segment, the pair welcomed Trichologist Lisa Caddy.
As Lisa talked the presenters through her top hair care tips, Josie made a shocking confession about her own hair care regimen.
She said: "I love to exfoliate my scalp but I don't know if I'm doing it right, so would you recommend exfoliating your scalp and how do you exfoliate your scalp?"
Asked by Lisa how she was exfoliating her scalp, Josie replied: "I've got this little plastic brush and I get in the shower and I really go for it."
As Lisa pulled a face and looked anxiously to Holly, Josie made a further shocking confession.
She added: "And then sometimes, I know this is bad, I'll use a scrub – for the body – on my scalp."
A concerned Holly added: "Is she doing the right thing?"
As Josie giggled, Lisa replied: "I would probably refrain from overenthusiastic scrubbing of your scalp.
"Really you would be better to use scalp creams or lotions… because you can cause some trauma to your scalp or your hair if you're being overenthusiastic with a spiky massage brush or you're doing it for a bit too long."
