TOWIE star Joey Turner has revealed his edgy new hairstyle in a sassy shot on his Instagram page.
The reality TV star, 20, showcased his newly-shaved head in the dramatic image, which showed him puffing on a cigarette.
The close cropped locks were a marked contrast to The Only Way Is Essex alumni Joey's dark, bushy brows and crisp white T-Shirt, bearing the slogan Dover Street Market.
Joey, who has sparked fan concern due to his slender frame, finished off his stylish look with black nail polish.
In his caption, he wrote the contemplative Latin phrase, "memento mori."
This translates as 'remember you must die' and a dark reminder of the inevitability of death.
Yet despite the use of classical language, his fans seemed more concerned with the image, with one writing: "That’s hot?."
Another posted: "Oh my god who is heeeeeeeee," as a third wrote: "This hair is everything on you."

FAN CONCERN
Joey has hit headlines repeatedly over the last year thanks to a series of provocative images, often showing off his thin frame.
The former reality star sparked concern after showing his dramatic image change since leaving the reality show.
Joey was forced to hit back at followers who dubbed him "too thin" last year as he admitted he wasn't bothered by comments about his figure.
"I am not your role model," he wrote in a statement. "If I'm honest I'm not phased by the comments, I just want those who are about me to know I'm okay.
"I don't care about the comments simply because it's hard to care for the opinions of people that know nothing about me, my diet, my metabolism or my medical history with my weight.
"I'm a 20-year-old student, I'm not on TV. I'm a student like any other and I am not your role model, so if you want someone to look up to I suggest putting someone else on a pedestal because I am not him."
He added to The Sun: "I weigh seven and half stone, but I don't weigh myself. I don't care about how much I weigh. I am skinny, I can't help that I am skinny."
Joey admitted that he had "always had a long, thin frame" and believed to be eating a healthy diet of cereal, salad and sushi.
"I don't eat loads. I am not really a foodie, that's not me being anorexic, I just don't care to participate in gluttony," he hit back.
SUPPORTIVE FAMILY
He tells us that his friends and family are aware of his eating habits and although his mum does tell him he’s skinny, she’s not worried about him, saying: “She knows me, she knows my medical history, she knows my metabolism and she knows my mindset.”
The fashion lover quit Towie in May of this year and is now studying fashion design at university in London.
Fans think he’s appearance has changed dramatically since being on the slow, but Joey says it’s only natural over time and believes that a lot of the comments are “disguising hatred with a helping hand.”
He explains: “When I was on Towie, I started when I was 17. I hadn’t even finished puberty at that point.
“Everyone comes into themselves, I was still young. Nobody looks the same from 17- 20. I am at a pivotal point in my life where I am going to change. If I started the show when I was 23 and I’m now 27, then that is a bit different.”
