Paris Fury reveals one place that was off-limits on Netflix show
The latest celebrity to front their own reality documentary series is professional boxer Tyson Fury and his family.
The nine-part series titled At Home With The Furys, which premiered on Netflix this week, follows the family as the undefeated WBC heavyweight world champion boxer exits the ring and attempts to embrace retirement alongside his wife and six children.
However, in a recent interview, the Gypsy King admitted that wanted to cancel the series during filming last year.
In the very first episode Tyson is seen leaving a family gathering prematurely.
Speaking directly to the Netflix camera crew following him, he is shown saying: “If you wouldn’t mind f**cking off, I’m going home.”
Tyson and his wife Paris opened up about the effect that filming had on them and their six children while speaking on the Capital XTRA Breakfast with Robert Bruce and Shayna Marie.
Tyson explained: “Yeah I wanted out, I was like, couple of weeks in I said ‘Is there any way?’, I’d be on the phone with my lawyers ‘Is there any way I can get out of this?”
He also admitted that he had “made a mistake” and didn’t really know what he’d signed up for by allowing cameras to follow him and his family around.
Tyson expanded upon this by as he referred to his bipolar condition, where “one minute I’m happy, the next minute I’m not,” with this being a possible reason for his outburst on-screen.
He also stated that viewers will see his “emotional roller-coaster,” during certain episodes.
