Super Soap Week was an epic offering of television that was made all the more enjoyable for soap lovers by the fact that bad guy Harvey finally got carted off for all his dastardly deeds on Coronation Street.
However, Harvey wasn't killed off like many Corrie fans expected and it seems the door has been left open for a possible (though perhaps slightly unrealistic) comeback.
However, 45 year old Will Mellor, who played Weatherfield's latest villain, has opened up exclusively to OK! about what he wanted for the character – revealing he would have preferred it if Corrie bosses had killed Harvey off.
"I was all for them killing Harvey off," Will told us. "It would’ve been a good ending. I wanted to go in, make a splash, and come out."
Will continued: "I don't know how he could come back. Unless somebody goes to prison, you're not going to see Harvey. Unless he breaks out, but he's already done that."
Despite his feelings about his exit, Will confirmed that he "really enjoyed" working on the soap, adding that his mum was super proud of him for getting the part.

"It was great to play a Corrie baddie," he explained. "I feel like I’ve ticked off a career goal with that, and my mum was so proud of me."
Most of the time when someone plays an awful character in a soap they get a lot of stick from viewers when they're out in public, but Will hasn't had to deal with anything.
When quizzed on how the fans had reacted to him while he was out and about, Will described the experience as "nothing but positive."

"I think if it had been my first job then I would’ve got more stick," Will explained. "All I really had was people wanting pictures with me with my hands around their throat," he laughed.
Will opened up about what it was like to film the action-movie-like van sequence for the soap and revealed that he felt like he was in Shawshank Redemption.
Now he's finished with filming, Will intends to take advantage of the time off and enjoy the festive season with his family.
