Adele‘s 30 continued its reign at No. 1 for a fifth consecutive week on the Billboard 200 albums chart dated January 1, 2022.
The album earned 212,000 equivalent album units in the United States in the week ending December 23, as per MRC Data.
30 has remained at No. 1 since debuting atop the chart dated December 4. However, it could not sustain the 839,000 units earned in the first week.
The Billboard 200 chart ranks the most popular albums of the week in the U.S. based on multi-metric consumption as measured in equivalent album units. Units comprise album sales, track equivalent albums (TEA) and streaming equivalent albums (SEA).
Michael Bublé‘s Christmas came in second on the latest Billboard 200, earning 77,000 equivalent album units.
Taylor Swift‘s Red (Taylor’s Version) kept its No. 3 rank with 76,000 equivalent album units earned.
Roddy Ricch‘s new album Live Life Fast debuted at No. 4 with 62,000 equivalent album units earned, followed by Olivia Rodrigo‘s Sour at No. 5 with 61,000 equivalent album units earned.
