Starz gangster series Power Book II: Ghost recently finished its first season with another one already confirmed. The show has introduced many characters to the Power universe as other figures have departed. Among the new faces on the show is up and coming actress Andrea Lee Christensen as Riley Saxe-Merchant.
How old is Power Book 2 star Andrea Lee Christensen?
As Riley’s name would suggest, she is related to dodgy FBI attorney Cooper Saxe (played by Shane Johnson).
Riley was something of a wild child in Power after she was caught by the police for drug possession.
However, instead of telling her parents about her indiscretion, her uncle got her to do some dirty work for him in his bid to take down Tariq St Patrick (Michael Rainey Jr).
Riley managed to track down Tariq and started dating his friend Brayden Weston (Gianni Paolo) to help out her uncle.
She also lied to Brayden during their time together and drugged Tariq, who later went to his father James ‘Ghost’ St Patrick’s (Omari Hardwick) grave where he seemed to make a strange confession while under the influence of drugs.
The teen filmed Tariq in his drugs up state and gave the incriminating footage to her uncle as part of their deal.
Brayden later split from her after learning the truth about her actions drugging his best friend at college.
Later, she warned Brayden about Tariq being dangerous as Tasha St Patrick’s (Naturi Naughton) trial loomed closer.
Many viewers are keen to know more about actress Lee Christensen including her age and what else the star has been in.
Unfortunately, there’s not much information about the star regarding her age but according to her official website she is an Aries, so her birthday will be coming up at some point between March and April.
Lee Christensen also recently received a BFA in Drama from the prestigious NYU’s Tisch School of the Arts. Going by this, she could be in her twenties.
The actress and model is based in New York City but was born in Taiwan and grew up in California.
She has also starred in short film Two Questions and appeared in the TV series Adult and most recently concluded filming the lead in season three of Two Sides.
The Snapchat Original is going to be coming out in early 2021 and will mark her first big role post-Power.
According to IMDb, she is also starring in a TV series which for the moment is known simply as Untitled Tracy Oliver Project.
Along with acting, she has modelled for various campaigns as well as working as a writer on the web site Full Movie Here.
Lee Christensen has spoken about how she landed the role in Power Book II: Ghost, saying: “The audition was really crazy. So I just got the audition through my agent and it didn’t really tell you anything.
“It was for Ghost but it turned out to be first scene with Saxe, the one where she gets arrested for buying weed.
‘So, it’s like, ‘Okay, she’s kind of a bada** but obviously I didn’t know the character was going to be Saxe’s [niece] or anything.”
She added to The Knockturnal: “I went in an auditioned and I was like, ‘Okay, I hope I get a call back or whatever.’”
The star impressed in her audition and got a callback with creator Courtney Kemp getting her to perform again, however, it was only at the table read she found out the part was hers.
