Britney Spears celebrated her newfound freedom on Friday when a judge terminated the arrangement of a conservator — Jamie — controlling every aspect of the 39-year-old’s life, including her personal affairs, career decisions and finances.
In a candid Instagram post, the Toxic chart-topper shared that she hopes her mum and dad get what’s coming to them once she speaks out and tells the world what she’s had to endure since having her life was micromanaged from 2008 onwards.
I’m not even mentioning all the bad things they did to me

“Honestly it still blows my mind every day I wake up how my family and the conservatorship were able to do what they did to me … it was demoralizing and degrading,” Britney wrote.
“I’m not even mentioning all the bad things they did to me which they should all be in jail for … yes including my church going mother!”
What’s more, Britney says she has tried to keep the “peace” in the family by not speaking out and letting the world know what’s really been going on behind closed doors.
But she’s not keeping her mouth shut anymore, saying she has “not forgotten” and hopes that her family “can look up tonight and know EXACTLY WHAT I MEAN!”
“I’m used to keeping peace for the family and keeping my mouth shut … but not this time.”
The mother of two has been very vocal on the idea of partaking in an interview to lift the lid on her conservatorship and just how much involvement her entire family had in all of this.
After bombshell interviews from Meghan Markle and Prince Harry, and more recently Adele, Britney directly tagged Oprah Winfrey in her Instagram post, adding that until she embarks in a tell-all with the former talk show host, she’ll continue to talk about her family’s wrongdoings on social media.
“I might as well do a hint of my thoughts on the gram before I go and set things square on @Oprah !!!!! I mean who knows.”
Britney’s latest dig at her parents comes just one day after a report claimed the Grammy winner snubbed her mother’s attempt at a reconciliation when she flew from Louisiana to Los Angeles in a bid to make amends with her daughter.
According to sources via Page Six, Britney did not allow her mum to gain access into her gated community upon showing up announced.
The publication’s insiders note that there’s severe friction between the pair’s relationship, particularly since Britney blames Lynne for putting her in the conservatorship, to begin with, subsequently preventing the Lucky hitmaker from getting to live a normal life.
“Britney didn’t even let Lynne into her house. She is furious with her. Lynne tried over a number of days to try to visit, but Britney just shut her down,” the source gushed.
In a since-deleted Instagram post from earlier this month, the former Mickey Mouse Club star asserted that Lynne had “ruined my life” and that while her dad was the one appointed as conservator over her estate, Britney says her dad wouldn’t have been smart enough to come up with the plan of taking away her freedom without the help of her mum.
“She secretly ruined my life … and yes I will call her and [business manager] Lou Taylor out on it,” Britney wrote.

In the midst of Britney’s feud with her mother, however, the latter had made the daring move to file a petition requesting that her daughter’s estate cover her attorneys’ fees that have piled up during the conservatorship battle.
In court documents, Lynne said that she has amassed a sum of $660,000 from her fees that her lawyers want to “come out of the conservatorship estate or assets on hand”.
Lynne continued by saying that she initially hired her legal team to “help Britney free herself from what she saw as a very controlling existence”.
The same lawyers supposedly also helped Britney find “appropriate qualified expert doctors” in May 2019 and were advocates in getting Jamie terminated as conservator of his daughter’s estate.
Britney, who turns 40 on December 2, insisted that the celebrations will continue until the year’s end, writing: “I’m celebrating my freedom and my B day for the next two months!”
