Jameela Jamil Criticized for Posting Peanut Butter Snack Despite Nut Allergy Claim

The ‘Good Place’ actress is facing online backlash anew after advertising peanut butter pretzels on social media despite previously claiming that she’s allergic to nuts.

AceShowbizJameela Jamil has hit back at critics online after she advertised peanut butter pretzels on her Instagram stories – despite previously claiming she has a nut allergy.

The star shared a snap of a bag of Quinn creamy peanut butter filled pretzel nuggets on her page, with the caption, “Life will never be the same again.”

However, fans were quick to point out to the star that she previously said she was allergic to nuts, and questioned her new choice of snack.

On Wednesday, February 12, 2020 night she tweeted, “my allergies/intolerances lessened as I grew older,” but that didn’t stop curious users from pushing “The Good Place” actress for answers.

“i want to believe you but can you explain the allergies please?” one fan asked, prompting Jameela to reply, “Yep. Mercury poisoning in my twenties.”

“Had 11 fillings removed and my stomach lining was damaged for a decade. Got loads of weird food allergies that cleared up as I healed my gut. Next question.”

The controversy comes amid several accusations that the actress, who came out as queer last week, is suffering from Munchausen’s syndrome, which causes people to invent various ailments in a bid for attention.

One Instagram post cited articles on her admissions of past health problems, including car accidents, congenital hearing loss and labyrinthitis, hypermobile Ehlers-Danlos syndrome, and coeliac disease, as evidence she had the disorder.

Jameela has insisted the allegations are false and called the fan who forwarded them “unhinged.”
