It appears the Drake and Ye saga might be resurfacing. According to reports from The U.S. Sun, Drizzy allegedly recorded a scathing diss track with Taylor Swift in 2018, directed at both Ye and Kim Kardashian.
In the past, Ye has had many feuds with the Toronto star as well as with the country-pop artist, dating back to 2009. New reports regarding the track indicate that Swift is intending to release the track. Swift is currently in the middle of rerecording her multiplatinum award-winning 2017 album, Reputation. It is speculated by The Sun that Swift is planning on releasing this track on the new version of the LP to include the never-before-heard collab with Drake.
Those close to Swift have said that she originally omitted Drizzy’s diss track. The source said, “Taylor has pivoted her focus to re-recording Reputation and she has come across this song she made with Drake, which never saw the light of day. She knows that everyone is going to think it is about Kimye because it was her row with them which inspired a lot of Reputation. But this one is far more direct than the other songs, which was why they didn’t decide to release it in the first place. It’s no secret that both Taylor and Drake have had tumultuous relationships with Kanye, so they didn’t hold back when it came to recording. Obviously, she is totally over the whole thing now but this is one which fans will want to hear.”
It remains to be seen if Swift and Drake will release the track.
