Piers Morgan has taken to his holiday abroad on a tropical island a little too seriously as he goes full Tom Hanks with his Castaway look.
Describing himself as a "beach bum" the former Good Morning Britain presenter looked almost unrecognisable with his new disheveled style.
Whatever your opinion of the broadcaster he normally scrubs up pretty well, with a smart suit and tie being his go-to clothing, so Piers appearing like a character out of the Big Lebowski is rather unnerving.
The 56-year-old star is currently on holiday in Antigua with his three sons Spencer, Bertie and Stanley, and has been taking to Instagram to share photos of the family trip.
In his first beard-bearing photo Piers is stood on the sand wearing a blue polo shirt and a pair of smart-looking shorts.
With his hands in his pocket and his slightly scruffy hair it's no wonder that even Piers recognised he has perhaps been letting himself go on holiday.
However, his followers appeared to give the new look the big thumbs up with many praising the outspoken commentator.

One person commented on the post: "Looking great Piers".
While a second person added: "Looking good Piers the beard really suits you"
A third person wrote: "Loving the beard Piers!"
In another photo on Friday Piers is seen sat next to his 28-year-old son Spencer with a rather guilty-looking face.
With the table full of delicious-looking breakfasts Piers is wearing a plain blue t-shirt.

On the post he wrote: "Expect problems and eat them for breakfast.’ – Alfred A. Montapert."
And finally in an Instagram live a very beardy Piers is seen with a table full of booze as he holds does a cheers to the camera with a cocktail.
Piers and his sons have been staying at the Jumby Bay resort which is popular with the rich and famous from around the world.
The four Morgan's jetted off earlier this month but Piers' wife Celia stayed at home in West London.
Piers spent much of Friday praising footballer Cristian Ronaldo after he completed a move from Juventus to his old club Manchester United.
Taking to Twitter the Arsenal fan wrote: "BREAKING: It’s official – the great Cristiano Ronaldo is rejoining Manchester United."
