AS if Love Island wasn’t an awkward enough environment for people coupling up in front of former lovers, things have also turned majorly awkward on spin off show After Sun.
For former Love Island contestant Chris Hughes found himself face to face with his current girlfriend Jesy Nelson’s ex-boyfriend Jordan Banjo.
The 26-year-old Love Island reject has been dating 28-year-old Little Mix beauty Jesy since the start of the year.
However she previously dated Diversity star Jordan Banjo, 26, between 2012 and 2013 – with their romance coming to a crashing end after a whirlwind 10 month affair.
So slightly awkward scenes on Love Island After Sun on Sunday night as Chris and Jordan were both guests on the spin off show.
Fortunately, former TOWIE star Ferne McCann was the rose between two thorns as she say between the two boys on the celebrity panel.
Jordan and Chris looked like they were a decent distance apart – with both lads man spreading dramatically as Ferne was caught in the middle, while Chirs later awkwardly joked he could fall in love with Jordan.
Fans of the show also picked up on the awkward scene.
“Watching Love Island After Sun and Jesy Nelson from Little Mix current boyfriend Chris Hughes & ex boyfriend Jordan Banjo are on panel together talk about awkward,” one fan tweeted.
“Omg, I didn't know that,” another fan commented – adding a crying-with-laughter emoji.
