CORONATION Street's Carla Connor will come to blows with Sarah Platt at Underworld next week.
Carla – who is played by Alison King in the ITV soap – continues to struggle with the death of her dad Johnny Connor.
Johnny drowned in emotional scenes after he went to rescue his estranged wife Jenny who had been sucked into a massive sinkhole.
This week, Carla battles with her emotions as she tries to balance her work and personal life.
In the factory, Sarah notices the Dexter order is due out to the States in two days’ time.
A stressed Carla promises to sort it. After a tip off from Sarah, Peter drags Carla out for lunch and admits that he’s worried about her.
Later in the week, the feisty businesswoman tears a strip off Sarah for whining to Peter and announces that she’s taking two weeks’ holiday as of now.
Knowing how busy they are, Sarah’s horrified at Carla's behaviour.
However, Peter is overcome with relief when Carla reveals she’s booked some time off to recuperate and deal with her grief over Johnny’s death.
ITV viewers were in tears after Johnny drowned after confessing his love for ex-wife Jenny.
The businessman – who is played by actor Richard Hawley in the ITV soap – bravely saved Jenny’s life after she fell into the sinkhole.
In heartbreaking scenes Carla watched as Jenny was brought out without Johnny and it dawned on her what had happened.
Carla broke down in tears and viewers were with her.
One wrote: "Aww that was heartbreaking hearing Johnny calling out Aidens name."
A second said: "I cannot believe the lovely Johnny Connor has gone! ?"
Another added: "Poor Johnny, I’m beyond heartbroken and when we heard Aiden’s voice well that was it!! ??? R.I.P Johnny ?"
