DIY SOS: The Big Build viewers all have the same complaint as Nick Knowles makes major blunder | The Sun

DIY SOS: The Big Build viewers all had the same complaint after Nick Knowles made an embarrassing blunder on air.

Cat and Chris Sweet, who have three adorable children, were featured on the BBC show.

Harry, the youngest, has had Ehlers Danlos syndrome since birth, which causes him so much agony in his joints that he struggles to sleep.

Cat and Chris learned in 2017 that their older children, Louisa, 14, and Max, 11, have Friedreich's Ataxia, a rare and neurological disorder.

These life-limiting illnesses have affected the children’s lives.

The guys are in wheelchairs and must crawl up the stairs on their hands and knees. The family home is no longer safe for them, and life is becoming difficult for them.

So they called Nick Knowles, 60 and his crew to assist them in transforming their Weston-super-Mare home into a safe haven for their children despite their diseases.

Hundreds of volunteers came out to help in classic DIY SOS fashion.

But viewers were not impressed with Nick's pronunciation of "Ehlers Danlos Syndrome" and took to Twitter to vent about it.

One wrote: "It’s not Enlers Danlos Nick, it’s Ehlers Danlos (pronounced Ellers)."

A second added: "If Nick Knowles is going to mention Ehlers Danlos Syndrome so often it would be quite good if he didn’t keep mispronouncing it ‘ENLERS …’; that’s just bringing awareness to something that doesn’t exist."

"Good to see DIY SOS bringing awareness to Elhers Danlos syndrome .. shame Nick Knowles can’t say it properly," another penned.

A third echoed: "His pronunciation of it is really winding me up!!!"

A fourth agreed: "Same!!!!!!"

A fifth wrote: "Someone tell Nick how to pronounce Elhers Danlos syndrome properly please."
