Duggar family slammed as 'irresponsible' after massive New Year's Eve party in Arkansas home with 'not a mask in sight'

REALITY TV family The Duggars have been criticised after having a large New Year's Eve party with no social distancing or face masks.

Taking to Reddit on January 1, one person shared an Instagram Story which appeared to show the family celebrating the start of 2021 with plenty of guests.

Alongside a video of four separate Instagram Story posts, the person wrote: "Instagram stalking random fundies and found a good video of the Duggars NYE party.

"I don't see anything crazy juicy but maybe one of you will!" they added.

The first clip showed lots of people gathered in what appeared to be their huge living area singing a religious song.

The Story was captioned: "A great way to end 2020," and the next clip showed hoards of people gathered outside to watch a fireworks display.

The final video showed everyone singing Auld Lang Syne as balloons and confetti fell from the ceiling.

Fellow Reddit users were quick to comment on the post, with many slamming the Counting On stars.

One person wrote: "I’m sure at least one Duggar has gotten COVID but probably had mild symptoms, so they aren’t taking it seriously.

"Also, i noticed none of the Duggars have posted anything about NYE and are probably tired of getting “where is the social distancing…pandemic…..no masks” comments on their instagrams, so they are trying to be more discreet with their big a** parties," they added.

Another person commented: "Wow I cannot believe not a mask in sight."

A third person claimed: "I feel like I need to quarantine for ten days after watching this video."

A fourth fumed: "Jesus god, there are so many people there. I feel like I might catch Covid just watching this video."

This isn't the first time the Duggar family have been accused of breaking the rules when it comes to social distancing amid the global pandemic.

On December 31, Jinger Duggar was slammed when she posted an old photo from June 2020 when Covid was raging, showing her entire extended family on vacation in South Carolina with no masks.

The Duggars have been consistently criticized for flouting public safety rules during the Covid pandemic.

Last month, parents Jim Bob and Michelle were also slammed for throwing a massive Christmas bash at their Arkansas compound.

Guests were seen entering and leaving the home all evening, and son John-David Duggar, 30, was seen landing on the property in his helicopter.

None of the party-goers were seen wearing masks or following the six-foot guidelines set by the CDC.
