The storm isn’t over just yet in Emmerdale, as a new trailer has been released that shows further conflict for Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Al Chapman (Michael Wildman).
Cain and Al have been circling each other for months in the village but finally, they look set to come to blows quite literally as this new clip shows Cain holding a shotgun in front of his enemy.
Ultimately, Chas’ (Lucy Pargeter) affair looks set to be the catalyst for Cain’s attempt at revenge, as he’s seen finding his sister’s burner phone and later telling Al ‘you’re not going to be seeing her again!’.
The trailer ends when the two men getting into a fight during an attempt at reaching for the gun – but who will get to it first?
And how will the events impact the Dingles, given everything that’s just happened?
We are of course making reference to not one but two deaths in the Dingle family – Faith (Sally Dexter) and Liv (Isobel Steele).
Faith passed away a few weeks ago following her terminal cancer diagnosis.
The beloved character died in Cain’s arms after she made the decision to end her life.
Last week, the Emmerdale audience said an emotional goodbye to Liv, who was one of the victims of the huge storm.
Liv was crushed by a caravan and, due to how the vehicle had landed on her body, any attempt at moving her would’ve killed her instantly.
It left Vinny (Bradley Johnson) with no choice but to sit by Liv’s side until she died.
