Based on the critically acclaimed book of the same name by Kristin Hannah, Firefly Lane follows the friendship and lives of Tully Hart (played by Katherine Heigl) and Kate Mularkey (Sarah Chalke). Season one of the Netflix show ended on a major cliffhanger with fans eager to know what happens next. But there will still be more to come, even if subscribers have already started in the first part of Firefly Lane series two.

Has a release date been set for Firefly Lane season two part two?

Firefly Lane went down a storm with Netflix viewers at the start of last year and was given a second season renewal shortly after.

After more than a year and a half of waiting, Firefly Lane has made its comeback for season two, coming out on Friday, December 2.

This second outing will be extended with a whopping 16 instalments, in comparison to series one which had 10 episodes.

Season two, part one of the heartwarming drama consists of nine episodes in total.

This means part two will be made up of the remaining seven for fans to enjoy.

Unfortunately, while it is known there will be more to come from Tully and Kate, an official release date for Firefly Lane season two, part two, hasn’t been confirmed.

All that is known at the moment is that the rest of Firefly Lane will be out sometime in January 2023.

Going by previous Netflix shows that have been split in two, viewers shouldn’t have to wait too long.

Last year, the final season of Spanish drama Money Heist part one came in September, with the second half following a few months later in December.

You season four will be returning on February 9, 2023, with the next lot of episodes released one month later.

So it shouldn’t be more than a month between part one and two of Firefly Lane.

Subscribers are already excited about what’s to come in the first half of series two.
