THE award-winning drama, Killing Eve, will return for a third instalment following the enormous success of season one and two.
And yes – the third series will need to answer some of the burning questions fans have after an explosive finale episode. Here's what you need to know.
WARNING: Contains spoilers from season two of Killing Eve.
Will there be a Killing Eve season three?
Good news for fans of Killing Eve the show WILL be back or a third offering – but you are going to have to wait.
As season two only arrived in the UK in June 2019, it is likely that Killing Eve season three will be out in June 2020.
The season will once again air in the US on BBC America first, but then will drop on the iPlayer after it has been shown in full across the pond.
There's no update yet about whether show will continue on for a fourth season.
Who will be in the cast of Killing Eve season three?
A few people got bumped off in season two, so here's who is likely to be back for season three:
Jodie Comer as Villanelle
The sassy assassin will be back – as it wouldn't be the same without her.
Jodie Comer, 25, was born in Liverpool and landed her first acting job in a BBC Radio 4 play after winning first place at a local drama festival.
She's known for playing Chloe Gemell in My Mad Fat Diary and Ivy Moxam in the BBC Three series Thirteen.
In 2020 she's set to star in an adaptation of Death on the Nile alongside Kenneth Branagh.
She won the gong for Leading Actress at the TV Baftas.
Sandra Oh as Eve Polastri
At the end of season two Eve is left for dead so will she survive? Our guess is that she will.
Sandra Oh, 47, is a Canadian actress best known for playing Cristina Yang on Grey's Anatomy from 2005 to 2014.
The role won her a Golden Globe Award and two Screen Actors Guild Awards.
She's also starred in a number of feature films including The Princess Diaries (2001), Blindness (2008) and Catfight (2016).
Fiona Shaw as Carolyn Martens
Fiona Shaw, 60, plays MI6 operative Carolyn Martens in Killing Eve, who shows no signs of getting killed off.
The Irish actress is best known for starring as Petunia Dursley in the Harry Potter films.
She also played palm reader Marnie Stonebrook in the vampire series True Blood and has appeared in an array of stage productions.
Other cast:
Others that are also likely to return are Eve's sidekick and computer wiz Kenny Stowton (Sean Delaney), Eve's husband Niko Polastri (Owen McDonnell) and of course series favourite Konstantin, played by Kim Bodnia.
What will happen in Killing Eve season three?
Similar to the first series, season two ended with Eve being shot by Villanelle, (in season one Eve stabbed Villanelle) after she refused to runaway with her for a life of murder and mayhem.
She was left in a pool of her own blood, with Villanelle walking away.
With this in mind, the show will pick up on how Eve survives the shooting (because we all know she will).
Villanelle will also be out for revenge against Konstantin and Carolyn in season 3 after being used and manipulated by them.
Eve's husband Niko is also likely to ask her for a divorce, after Villanelle savagely killed his co-worker.
Is there a trailer for Killing Eve season three?
Unfortunately, fans of the hit drama will have to wait until next year for a glimpse of the new series.
It is thought the trailer could land in March, 2020, however the BBC released the official teaser for season two in May, 2019.
Keep in mind that there's usually always a drastic gap between the show airing in the US and in the UK.
Since the BBC prefers to have the show in its entirety available for fans on BBC iPlayer, it consequently means that the Brits have to wait until the final episode has aired in the US before we can all spend a good day binge-watching the series as a whole.
There could be a chance, however, that the Beeb will take the traditional approach next year by airing each episode in the week that it also airs in the US because it hasn't make sense for fans to wait up to eight weeks before getting the entire season handed to them in one go.
How can I watch Killing Eve?

However, you can watch it weekly on BBC One every Saturday at 9.15pm
You can also watch all of season one on the iPlayer.
