Love Island finalist Maura Higgins has confessed she is "not in love" with Curtis Pritchard.
The Irish bombshell, who is joining the This Morning family as an agony aunt, was asked to address Curtis' sexuality during an interview today.
This comes after Curtis said he he believes that "love is blind", would be open to dating a man and that he didn't want to label his sexuality .
When asked about how this effects their relationship, Maura said: "I mean…we're every happy and taking thing slow. You don’t have to put a label on anything. He makes me happy and I make him happy. That's what's important."
Presenter Ruth Langsford then asked why this was the case since "got to know each other very well" in intimate bedroom sessions after the villa.
Maura replied: "In the villa it's very different. Now we're out of the villa we just want to take things slow. Go on dates. We’ve not had our first official date outside yet.
"We just want to do normal things and see how it goes. I’m very happy with him."
Ruth then asked whether Maura was in love with Curtis, who she only met just eight weeks ago when she made that bombshell entrance into the villa.
"I’m not in love just yet, but I’m definitely getting the feels," confessed Maura.
Maura claimed she did not step on any toes despite pursuing Curtis just one day after he finished with Amy Hart.
She explained: "What you haven’t seen is week one I actually said if I'd come in here earlier I would have gone for Curtis. You didn’t see that. Lucie knew that and even Amy knew."
Maura also insisted her relationship with Tommy Fury was just "banter" and that he was the only boy she had a connection with at the time.
The Irish grid girl joked about her facial expressions and admitted she had only seen snippets of herself on the show.
She added: "I actually cringe when I’m watching it back. I don’t ever think I will watch the whole series."
"I just say what I’m thinking. There's no filter with me. Sometimes I say things I probably shouldn’t but why hide it. I don’t have any regrets. I go for what I want and say what I want."
At the start of the show, Maura admitted she was thrilled to be joining the This Morning team.
She confessed: "It is literally a dream on mine. I just can't believe it. I'm pinching myself every few minutes.
"Honestly I never thought I'd get this massive opportunity. I’ve watched the show for years. I’m speechless."
Presenter Eamonn Holmes joked she was the "second most famous person in Ireland".
Maura admitted she was scared about her first challenge, which is to jump out of a plane, but is willing to give it a go.
Explaining what activities she was getting up to, she said: "Some very exciting things. They want me to do a skydive which I’m terrified about.
"I’ve said 'yeah I'll do it'. I'll probably have to be pushed out. That's terrifying. But I’m an adrenaline junky. I’ll go for it."
Maura will be back on Wednesday "saying it how it is" and giving "no nonsense" advice during a This Morning phone-in.
Speaking before her debut, she said: "I’m getting flutters about joining This Morning. I can’t believe it. It’s beyond my wildest dreams.
"I’ve grown up watching Phillip, Holly, Eamonn, Ruth and the team. Mad to think I’m now part of that iconic family. Can’t wait to crack on."
