Pregnant Amelia trapped in labour as killer storm rages through Emmerdale

Emmerdale is being ravaged by a deadly storm that will see residents die; and one person in serious danger is Amelia Spencer (Daisy Spencer).

The pregnant teen was heading for a picnic with Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) but, unable to find him, she struggled as the winds picked up.

She fell over and took a nasty blow to the stomach. Left in agony, she attempted to contact her dad, but no signal on her phone meant she was alone and in a terrifying danger.

She managed to stumble to an empty barn, where she cried out in agony. She cried to herself, acknowledging that the labour was very premature.

Elsewhere, Harriet Finch (Katherine Dow Blyton) and dad Dan (Liam Fox) were out searching for her desperately.

But the Emmerdale countryside is a wide open and sprawling area – she could be anyway.

Even Kim Tate (Claire King) was out in the elements, racing on her horse to try and track down Amelia.

But so far, there hasn’t been any spark of hope for her as the labour continues.

The wind is battering the barn and the baby is coming; will Amelia and her baby get through this ordeal?

Can anyone find her before it’s too late?

Actress Daisy described filming the high octane scenes as ‘absolutely crazy’ – and we can see why!

‘Honestly it felt like we were filming a film,’ she enthused to Metro.co.uk. ‘It’s the best filming days I’ve ever done.

‘It didn’t feel like Emmerdale. They had these sticks screwed into the door and the prop people had to literally rattle the door.

‘Obviously the wind did a lot of that because we had three massive wind machines outside and we had one inside.

‘It felt really intense and I really love filming intense stuff because it gives you more adrenaline. I actually felt like I was in a storm, it sounded and felt like you were actually in a storm.’

For Amelia, she absolutely is – and the peril couldn’t be more real…
