Seriously ill Sarah Harding moves in with her mum to give herself the best chance of beating breast cancer

POP star Sarah Harding has moved back in with her mum to give herself the best chance of beating cancer.

The Girls Aloud singer told her fans in August she was battling advanced breast cancer.

After she was handed the diagnosis by doctors, Sarah, 38, moved in with her mum, Marie Hardman, who lives in Manchester.

A pal said: “Sarah has been supported by her friends and family throughout everything but her mum Marie has been her absolute rock.

“After learning she had cancer Sarah moved back to Marie’s home in Manchester so she could start treatment with her mum caring for her.

“Sarah is undergoing intensive treatment and is holding up well.

“Being with her mum is the best place for her.”

Sarah, who rose to fame in Girls Aloud with Cheryl Tweedy, 37, Kimberley Walsh, 38, Nicola Roberts and Nadine Coyle, both 35, revealed to fans that she’d been diagnosed with cancer on August 26.

At the time, the singer posted a statement online with a picture of her in hospital and said: “Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and a couple of weeks ago I received the devastating news that the cancer has advanced to other parts of my body.

“I’m currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy sessions and am fighting as hard as I possibly can.”

Sarah also paid tribute to her loved ones and said: “My amazing mum, family and close friends are helping me through this.

“I want to say a thank you to the wonderful NHS doctors and nurses who have been and continue to be heroes.”
