Now that Hannah Brown’s season of The Bachelorette is officially over, Bachelor considerations have begun swirling around. From Brown’s season, Mike Johnson, Peter Weber, and Tyler Cameron have all been talked about by fans.
But it’s no secret that Cameron has a drink date with Brown coming up (since her engagement with Jed Wyatt ended).
How Hannah B. and Tyler C. feel about getting a drink with each other
In a recent interview with Nick Viall on his podcast, The Viall Files, Cameron admitted that he’s not ready to jump into anything serious with Brown just yet–he’s still healing.
“I cherish Hannah and value her and our friendship so much, but I don’t think it’s healthy for us to jump into anything right away. I think we need to be friends and see where life takes us. Whatever happens, happens.”

Brown wants to take their reconnecting at a slow pace as well. She knows their heartbreaking breakup wasn’t all that long ago.
“It’s only been two months ago, so my feelings just don’t go away, but also we’ve both been hurt. I hurt him, I was hurt through that, and I was hurt through the relationship that I had,” she recently told ET. “I think it’s really important that if any type of relationship is going to happen for Tyler and I, that we hang out, and just see where we’re at, and if that’s friends, if it’s more, I’m good with that.”
“I want to continue to be a part of his life, and I think he wants to be a part of mine,” she added. “But at what capacity, I don’t think we know just yet.”
So does that mean he’ll be eligible for The Bachelor if things don’t work out romantically with Brown?
Apparently, he’s on the fence about it.
“I don’t know. I’m all over the map about that one,” he said on the podcast. “I have a lot of things I gotta sit down and think about when it comes to that. It’s a lot of responsibility. It’s a great opportunity but it comes with a lot of responsibility.”
Who does Tyler C. think The Bachelor should be?

Cameron has a wild-card suggestion for the upcoming season of The Bachelor: his best friend, Matt James. Cameron fans might recognize James from the runner-up’s Instagram page. The two can often be seen eating cookies and working out together. James also co-founded ABC Food Tours with Cameron, a nonprofit that helps to educate and inspire underprivileged children in New York City. James also works for a real estate company and is a brand ambassador for Lululemon.
“Everyone needs to apply Matt James for The Bachelorette. Maybe just skip that and go to The Bachelor,” he said. “My goal is to get him on, he needs some convincing so everybody get after him, get him convinced to go and he’ll be a great guy for the show.”
James wouldn’t be the first person to get cast just because he was a friend of a contestant. During Arie Luyendyk Jr.’s season, Tia Booth was cast as “Raven’s friend.”
If Cameron doesn’t get his wish for James to be the next Bachelor, hopefully he’ll make it on the next round of The Bachelorette and get the title of “Tyler C.’s friend.”
