'Vanderpump Rules': Lala Kent Updates 'Rand' Tattoo

The Lala Kent and Randall Emmett saga continues. The Vanderpump Rules stars are rumored to have split up. Though neither of them has released a public statement addressing why they split, the way Kent has been talking about her life pretty much confirmed the rumors. Recently, Kent updated her “Rand” tattoo to have a new meaning.

What did ‘Vanderpump Rules’ star Lala Kent change her tattoo to?

Getting a tattoo of your partner’s name is always a risky business. Even the most stable relationships can end. But lots of celebrities opt to ignore this fact and get inked up with their lovers’ names. Recently, eagle-eyed fans noticed a change to Kent’s “Rand” tattoo.

When the reality star posted a photo of herself modeling sunglasses, fans saw that “Rand” was now changed to “bRand new.”

It is unclear when the change happened as Kent was still sporting the original tattoo in a Sep. 12 Instagram post.

‘Vanderpump Rules’ fans reacted to Lala’s tattoo update

Fans were quick to comment on the post.

“Did you change your tattoo from rand to brand new?” one person asked.

Most fans loved the new addition.

“Peep the tattoo,” another person wrote. “I’m obsessed. Queen.”

“New tattoo, who dis?” one fan said.

“Love the glasses and the tattoo save,” another added.

What has Lala Kent said about her breakup?

The rumors of Kent and Emmett’s breakup started when Kent was spotted out and about without her engagement ring. When the singer posted a video of her assistants pushing her baby stroller and luggage down a hallway as “Sorry” by Beyoncé played, fans took that as confirmation of the split.

Kent has spoken about the breakup on her Give Them Lala…with Randall podcast.

“I want to acknowledge that I’m sure everyone knows what is going on between Randall and myself and just in my personal life,” she said.

“There will be a time where I feel comfortable enough to open up and share. Today is definitely not that day,” she continued. “It’s been a lot, I’m going through a lot.”

She later went into more depth about the situation in a recent episode.

“I just never thought that my life would be where it is right now, you know. And that’s OK. That’s totally fine,” she said. “There’s moments when I have a pit in my stomach and I need God to take over right now because it’s too much. And he does.

“What I’ve been through in my life, which people have been through much crazier and traumatic things than I have been through. Those people inspire me, [those] who deal with things with grace and they come out on top even with the hand they were dealt,” she said.

Ultimately, Kent is trying to see the silver lining in the whole ordeal.

“For me, I look at it and I’m like, I would never have Ocean. This independence that I have wouldn’t be here,” she continued. “It just feels amazing. Like, yes, I have moments but I will say I feel so hopeful and happy.”
