Shia LaBeouf likes it hot.
A spy told Page Six that the actor enjoyed lunch on Sunset Boulevard at the healthy, gluten-free hotspot Honey Hi last Friday, one apparently so delicious that LaBeouf could hardly contain himself.
As the “Transformers” star bussed his own plates after enjoying his meal outdoors, he kept repeating his love for their hot sauce saying, “Wow! This hot sauce is amazing! Has everyone tried it?,” loudly enough for the entire restaurant to hear.
“It was absolutely a bit manic, but it was also very sweet,” said the spy. “He also knew like half the restaurant somehow.”
Honey Hi’s menu lists a house-made “lactofermented” hot sauce — likely the apple of Shia’s eye — that can be added to your meal to for an extra $1.
While LaBeouf is no stranger to odd behavior, the positive twist is a nice change to his reputation, which includes a 2017 arrest for public drunkenness, disorderly conduct and obstruction in Georgia.
LaBeouf’s next project “Honey Boy,” which stars himself and girlfriend FKA Twigs, is set to be released November 8th.
