Geordie Shore’s Scotty T plugs car deals on Instagram – months after bankruptcy

Putting his financial woes behind him, Scotty T has started to plug car deals on his Instagram page.

The former Geordie shore star took the photo-sharing app earlier this week, and informed his following about a Range Rover sport being sold at a local car dealership.

He told his 2.8million followers they could snap up the 4X4 for £779 per month on finance.

The post comes after it was reported the 31-year-old was declared bankrupt at the County Court in Newcastle back in March.

Public documents show the petition, in regards to his own bankruptcy, was filed last year before confirmed on March 19.

In usual cases, bankruptcy restrictions are usually discharged after a year, but an Insolvency Service official confirmed this would not be the case for the Newcastle native.

"Scott Timlin did not fully co-operate with the bankruptcy proceedings and so his discharge has been suspended indefinitely until such time as he does," a spokesman said.

The notice also indicated the 31-year-old has recently lived at an apartment in Waterloo Street, Newcastle, as well as on Moor Lane, a plush street in Ponteland.
