Sarah Harding reveals she's written a book about her life amid 'tough' cancer battle

SARAH Harding has revealed she's written a book about her life as continues her "tough" cancer battle.

In a rare social media post, the Girls Aloud singer revealed her autobiography is called Hear Me Out.

The cover sees Sarah with a big grin on her face and the words: "My story, my words, my life".

She wrote: "Hi everyone. Thank you so much for all the messages of love and support that I’ve received since my last post.

"Everyone has been so kind and reading your comments and DMs has been such a huge source of strength to me. I can’t deny that things are tough right now but I’m fighting as hard as I possibly can and being as brave as I know how."

Revealing how the book came to be, she continued: "In September the lovely people at Ebury Publishing asked me if I would be interested in writing a book about my life story."

The writing process has helped take Sarah's mind of her breast cancer fight, and she's had fun picking out pictures to illustrate it with her mum.

She wrote: "It came at such a good time for me as it’s given me something fun and positive to focus on while I’ve been stuck at home in between trips to the hospital for treatment.

"I’ve nearly finished it now and this week Mum and I have been looking though old photos choosing which ones to include. It’ll be out after Christmas and I’m really proud of it. I hope you’ll like it.

"Sending lots of love to everyone – I hope you’re all keeping well – S x."

Her followers praised her spirit and said they're excited to read it.

One told her: "Keep fighting Sarah, look forward to your book. Sending lots of love to you ❤️ xx."

Two weeks ago Sarah's Girls Aloud bandmates wished her a happy 39th birthday.

They shared throwback pictures from the group's chart-topping days and posted loving messages.

Kimberley Walsh wrote: "Happy Birthday to our blonde bombshell and my fellow scorpion @sarahnicoleharding… love you so much ❤️❤️❤️."

Nadine Coyle posted: "Happy birthday @sarahnicoleharding."

While Nicola Roberts shared Kimberley's post along with a blue love heart.

The singer has moved in with her mum after revealing her advanced cancer diagnosis back in August.

A pal said at the time: “Sarah has been supported by her friends and family throughout everything but her mum Marie has been her absolute rock.

“After learning she had cancer Sarah moved back to Marie’s home in Manchester so she could start treatment with her mum caring for her.

“Sarah is undergoing intensive treatment and is holding up well.

“Being with her mum is the best place for her.”

At the time, the singer posted a statement online, along with a picture of her in hospital, and said: “Earlier this year I was diagnosed with breast cancer and a couple of weeks ago I received the devastating news that the cancer has advanced to other parts of my body.

“I’m currently undergoing weekly chemotherapy sessions and am fighting as hard as I possibly can.”

Sarah also paid tribute to her loved ones and said: “My amazing mum, family and close friends are helping me through this.

“I want to say a thank you to the wonderful NHS doctors and nurses who have been and continue to be heroes.”
