STRICTLY Come Dancing star Mike Bushell revealed his dance partner Katya Jones crashed her car before her fall on the live show this weekend.
Their routine nearly ended in disaster on Saturday night when Katya, 30, tumbled on the dance floor during their Magic Mike-inspired Cha-Cha-Cha.
The professional then fell again while talking to Claudia Winkleman backstage – leading many fans to accuse her of being drunk.
However, it turns out this clumsiness is infecting the rest of her life and Mike Bushell says it's his fault.
Speaking on BBC Radio Solent on Monday morning, the sports broadcaster, 53, said: "Since she's started training with me she's crashed her car, not seriously, but into a hedge – the car was damaged.
"She's also hit me with a stick, hit me in the face and now fallen over on the dance floor.
"She's worried my clumsiness is rubbing off on her. I'm known for being a bit clumsy after I fell into a swimming pool at the Commonwealth Games."
The first fall almost ended in disaster for the pair, with Katya just moments from taking them both down together.
Mike continued: "It was very surprising, because she pushed me away like she was meant to and then I was meant to get into the zone for the glitter coming down.
"And then as I was pulling away I saw her fall over. She tried to grab hold of my tie and if she had done I might have gone over as well.
"I almost stopped to say, 'are you okay?' and she just said, 'carry on, go back'."
Luckily, the dancer managed to style out the fall, spinning round on her bottom and turning the tumble into a new move.
Katya took to social media on Sunday to deny claims she was drunk, insisting the first fall was an accident and the second was on purpose.
Speaking about the second, she wrote on her Instagram Story: "Guys! This one was totally taking the Micky out of myself.
"How convincing is that? I should be a fall over actor!"
The routine – performed to It's Raining Men – scored just 18 points, putting the couple third from last.
Discussing the performance afterwards, judge Bruno Tonioli said: "It wasn't quite magic, it was nearly tragic in parts."
They managed to avoid the dance off, which saw presenter Anneka Rice pushed out the competition by former footballer David James.
Katya hit the headlines during last year's Strictly after kissing her celebrity partner Seann Walsh.
Seann was in a five-year relationship with actress Rebecca Humphries.
Both Seann and Katya – who was married to fellow Strictly dancer Neil Jones for five years – split with their partners after the kissing incident.
