Kim Kardashian Looks for Apartment in NYC After Kanye West Buys a House Close to Hers

Words are the ‘Keeping Up with the Kardashians’ alum is looking at apartments in uptown Manhattan amid her hot romance with Staten Island native Pete Davidson.

AceShowbizKim Kardashian may upset Kanye West with her alleged future investment. The reality TV star is said to be planning to buy an apartment in New York City, just as her estranged husband has recently purchased a new house across the street from her Calabasas home.

According to a report, the SKIMS founder has quietly been looking to purchase an apartment in New York amid her hot romance with NYC-born comedian Pete Davidson. “Kim is so rich she can afford to buy an amazing apartment anywhere in the world,” sources tell Radar Online.

“However, when she visits New York she has been staying at a very expensive hotel. But all that is about to change, and not just because Kim is dating Pete,” the sources add. “Kim has been looking at apartments in New York on the down-low for a few months. She is looking in the $5 to $10 million range as an investment. New York is the hottest real estate market in the world, and it doesn’t make sense that she isn’t in it.”

Though the future NYC apartment will bring her closer to Pete, Kim is reportedly not planning to move to Staten Island, the home of her boyfriend Pete. She is looking for an apartment in uptown Manhattan instead. “Kim wants a place close to the hotel she usually stays in on Central Park South just in case she needs to get a room and order room service!” the so-called insiders explain.

As Kim is likely going to be traveling more often to New York in the future, her estranged husband Kanye may not be able to see her as much as he desires despite recently buying a new house close to hers. The rapper was reportedly reported to have purchased single-story house in Hidden Hills for $4.5 million, $421,000 over the seller’s asking price of $4.079 million.

The house, which is located directly across the street from the marital home that Ye used to share with Kim, hit the market for the first time in 67 years on December 1. The Yeezy designer quickly closed on the home on December 20 under the LLC, Spruce Blue Trust.

On the reason why the 44-year-old artist wants to stay close to Kim, a source told Page Six, “It’s just simple logistics so that he is close to his children and has access to them at the drop of a hat.” Another source similarly told E! News, “It made perfect sense for him to have a place near the kids.”

Some people, however, have called out the Atlanta native over the move, with some dubbing him “obsessed” and “crazy.” One critic said, “it’s weird, obsessive, possessive, and just crazy!” Another agreed as saying, “Not a hopeless romantic. If you broke up w someone and moved on…would you want them going out their way to make you uncomfortable and wrapping it as ‘love’? It’s obsessed and narcissistic. It’s weird af.”
